Merino Wool is soft against the skin, absorbent, and breathable. Merino wool’s inherent crimp encourages air to become trapped between its fibres, which serve as an insulator against extremes of temperature. Without feeling clammy or wet to the touch, each fibre may absorb up to one-third of its own weight in moisture. Compared to synthetics, merino wool has a significantly higher capacity to absorb and release moisture. Wool textiles are impervious to odours often associated with base layer garments because wool does not harbour microorganisms that produce odours.
Our jackets have traditional Half Canvas Construction. The lapels roll naturally as they should when the hair canvas is hand stitched to the front of the suit jacket; there is no bubbling there because there is no fuse there.

All of our double-breasted jackets with peak lapels and all of our single-breasted jackets with notch lapels are tailored. All of the jackets are lined.
